Nutrition, Women’s Health and Holistic Wellness Coaching
If you are looking at improving your overall wellbeing in 2024, I provide online Health Coaching. Through 1:1 online sessions, we work together to help guide you in clarifying and achieving your health and wellness goals.
Coaching is not the same as counselling, although it has some common elements. We won’t go into trauma processing in these sessions. Health and Wellness coaching is much lighter, but the impact can be HUGE! If you want to read more about health coaching, click here. Here are a few things Health and wellness coaching can help you with –
- Track your symptoms/habits/thoughts/feelings and behaviours
- Understand the root cause of the problem
- Develop an achievable plan to help you reach your health goals
- Understand the link between your mind and body, including the influence of stress and gut health
- Help you understand your cycle and how to give yourself adequate nutrients and support in different phases
- Get to know your nervous system and how it responds to external stress
- Outline your values and determine whether you are living a life in line with these
- Get to know what your boundaries are
- Understand your relationship with food and your body
- Learn about self compassion

why health and wellness coaching?
There are many reasons why I chose to become qualified as a Womens Health and Wellness coach. But, to make a long story short I’ll try to sum it up for you in one paragraph, here goes…
As a child, I had a fear of food and ate about 4 ‘safe’ foods up until age 7. These safe foods slowly increased until age 14. When my parents divorced, I developed another eating disorder which involved rigid exercise rules accompanied by extremely low calorie consumption. This turned into part time calorie restriction/part time binge eating disorder. After leaving an abusive relationship and being addicted to work, I experienced burnout, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. In my 30s I became very sick, and was diagnosed with multiple rare vascular compression disorders. This forced me to quit working full time and focus on my health. Oh and I had chronic migraine (for 22 years!) as well as IBS throughout my life.
I realised I could no longer be the career driven, independent woman I once was. My body said ‘fuck you’ and I had to listen to it. I completely changed my life and career path, focused on my health, nourished (and listened to) my body and will never look back! 22 years of chronic migraine? GONE! I manage a rare health condition and am working within a field that I’m passionate about, STRESS FREE.
After studying and practicing for years in the mental health and trauma space, I realised the importance of addressing the ‘whole’ self. I’d been focusing on mental health like it lived in its own little world. It doesn’t, our mind, body and soul are connected and influential on one another.
This is why I became a Nutrition, Womens Health and Holistic Wellness coach. We explore all facets of your life, in a way that CBT does not. I truly believe we need to look after ourselves holistically if we want to improve our mental health.
