Clinical Supervision is so important for human services professionals. It helps you in providing crucial support for your clients, advocate for social justice, and help people empower themselves to heal and grow.
Given the complex and emotionally charged nature of the work, you need to engage in ongoing professional development and receive support to navigate challenges in practice. Supervision plays a pivotal role in this regard, providing a structured framework for reflective practice, skill enhancement, and self-care.
You may already have access to internal (line management) supervision within your job. However, external supervision is beneficial as an addition to this. It provides a safe and supportive space for you to process emotions, address vicarious trauma, and prevent burnout. It also allows you space to focus on your own career aspirations outside of your current job.
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and LOVE Supervision! I provide online Clinical Supervision for Social Work and Community Services students, new graduates and experienced professionals working in Human Services organisations.
My aim as a Supervisor is to help support you to develop effective self-care strategies, set boundaries, and maintain holistic well-being. I also help you to develop strategic professional growth strategies in line with your unique career goals.

I then spent over 9 years with Witness Assistance in the criminal legal system. During this time, I completed a field education placement with NSW Health, as a sexual assault counsellor. The majority of my experience was in case management, crisis response and counselling/debriefing.
In 2021, I transitioned into private practice, providing counselling and supervision (including Victims Services counselling, Medicare provider, and trained in CBT for Eating Disorders). I have worked with people of all age groups and genders, mostly in regards to violence, abuse and neglect.
